So, what are my chances at getting into…
SDSU-Journalism: Public Relations
UCSB-communications
CU Boulder-strategic communications
University of San Francisco-communications
UT Austin-public relations

UCSB is a high reach and SDSU is a reach especially since they dont care about EC’s.cant speak for the others

UCSB: Reach
SDSU: High Match
USF: Match

Not sure about the rest. SDSU does not take into account EC’s, so acceptance is based on your GPA and test scores. You need a few more Match schools and a safety on your list.

UT is a serious reach with those test scores OOS.

I wouldn’t waste time and money applying to UT-Austin if you are from out-of-state, It would be a reach for you if you were a Texas resident, but its statutory mandate for admitting the top 7% from every high school in Texas leaves little room for any but the most highly-qualified non-residents.

I’d use your URM status to apply to private schools with holistic admissions too.

I’m a student from Boulder, Colorado & and I can say that you have a good chance at CU Boulder.
