I don’t know if this is super relevant, but I was diagnosed with mild autism at 2. Planning to write about that for admissions…

I’m also eligible for legacy at UCSD.

Please tell me if I have even a slight chance of getting in…

UCSD nor any other UC’s consider legacy, so no help there. Send your ACT only. GPA/ACT composite on target but Math score a little on the low side if you plan to major in STEM. Write some amazing essays, you have a very good chance at UCSD. What is your intended major?

I am not familar with Whitman or Reed, so no opinion.

Good Luck.

What major are you going for at UCSD?
I would recommend trying again on ACT to see if you can bump it a little higher. UCs wait-listed tons of kids this year. My kid got into UCSD with the same GPA as you but ACT of 35.

I don’t know about Whitman and Reed. If you like that area of the country, check out Willamette and Lewis and Clark as well… they are a little easier to get into and both beautiful campuses and nice programs.

I’m intending to be a Biology-type major at UCSD, but not pre-med. More research oriented.

Definitely get that ACT Math score up if you plan to apply as a Bio major at UCSD.
