Do I have a chance at Villanova?

I am currently a junior and am planning on applying to Villanova in the fall as my stretch school. I attend a Catholic school in Northern Virginia with a very good reputation. My GPA is low due to some emotional problems I faced my sophomore year of high school. I struggled with depression and my sophomore year GPA was a 2.8. However, my junior year GPA is a 3.9. I just got my SAT scores back and they are as follows:
M- 500
CR- 630
W- 780
Total: 1910

I plan on taking the SAT again in the fall to get it higher. I know my math score is lacking and am taking a course this summer to help improve it. I have a decent number of extra curriculars and am doing an internship for a congressional campaign this summer.

I know I am not very well qualified but am wondering if I even have a shot. Any suggestions would be helpful!!

If you get that math score up, you possibly have a good chance. You also get a point in your favor since you go to a catholic school, and another point if you’re catholic.

Your M is quite low and that is generally the easiest section to improve, so just study and practice SAT math problems and you can raise that considerably. Keep in mind that admissions is more than just GPA and SAT scores. They look at everything you do in high school, and your essays also play a major role. You have a pretty good chance! Keep your GPA up, and take rigorous course for your senior year. You might also want to consider talking about your depression to explain why your GPA was low as a sophomore. Good luck!
