This has been asked so many times in different variations but I hope someone finds time to help me out!
I am a senior in high school and Emerson is my top choice.
My biggest drawback is my GPA. If you were to look only at my junior and senior years, I would have something like a 3.9/4.0 but due to poor decisions in the first half of high school, I have a cumulative 3.2 UW. My school posts GPAs on a 100 scale so I am not entirely well versed in 4.0. In short, I get As now but got Cs and Bs as a freshman/sophomore.
I am a very strong and passionate writer and have perfected my college essay to the point of being used as an exemplar that my English teacher has made copies of for future use. I have a few serious works that I would be willing to share if a professional was interested, etc. I took the SAT three times (I know) because I have never taken very applied math classes and now suffer because of it.
My last SAT was my best and meets Emerson's average 1810/2400 scale score.
CR 610
Math 530
Writing 720
= 1860
I have built close relationships with nearly all my teachers in the past two years and could probably get letters of recommendation from all of them if I was that eager. I have asked from just four teachers who I feel will really have personal and positive things to say about me.

I wasn't the most involved in my four years but I do have a few things to put on my list of ECs:
1. Two years of paid "Early College" classes for state-school credits which I will be sacrificing because Emerson does not accept.
2. School newspaper
3. School yearbook
4. Part time job

Were any current Emerson students/admitted in a similar situation in high school? Thank you to anyone who can help me out!!
