Do i have a chance into any ivys?

<p>Hi, i really want to go to an ivy league school and i wanted to know if i have a chance. Here are my credentials. I am going to be a junior and so i havent had much experience with APS (but i am taking 4-6 this year, and prolly 4 senior year)</p>

<p>SAT: Hopefully a 2200+ (im very close)
Subject tests: Bio-750, Math 2-750, Physics-750
APs: Bio-4, USH-4
GPA: 3.8 current unweighted (out of 4.3), 5.3 weighted (out of 5.8)
Rank: Top 10%</p>

<p>EC:
-Member of Key Club (will get a leadership position) and have done 20 hours up to now
-School Newspaper Assistant editor
-Member of scool science league (havent won anything but i will really try this year)
-Hopefully Volleyball for 2 years (JV)</p>

<p>Volunteering:
-200 hrs at a medical camp in India where i helped give people medicine and provided them with food, shelter, and education
-150 hours at a local temple
-hopefully 100 hours at a local hospital
-Also 100 hours at a local retirement home</p>

<p>So please can anyone tell me if i have any chances? I also like Duke, Stanford, Uchicago, NYU Stern, and Carnegie Mellon. Also, how can i get more involved in ECs?</p>

<p>I’d say you have a solid shot. Take it, but know that it’s a crapshoot. But you’ve given yourself a great chance.</p>

<p>You don’t have excellent academics, but you are qualified. You extracurriculars are slightly worse than mediocre. Your volunteering is great, but they don’t seem to have a common focus, so you run the risk of your work seeming like a “resume booster.”</p>

<p>Any of them, without regard to size, location, style of teaching and available majors? Are you pursuing an education or are you just interested in obtaining the cachet of having attended a brand name?</p>

<p>does anyone think i can get a presidential scholarship to Rutgers (full ride) with these credentials?</p>

<p>I feel as though you have a chance, but there would more than likely be many people more qualified than yourself to obtain the scholarship. Granted, I don’t know how many they give out.</p>
