Hi, i would really love if anyone could help me out regarding my chances of acceptance at Brown. (or any Ivy)

I won’t post my whole resume because that’s time consuming for readers but here are the most important details:

ACT: 33 composite, (32 math, 34 English, 10 on essay, 36 reading, 31 science)
WGPA: 4.87
GPA: 3.94

SAT subject tests =
770 on US History
750 on Literature

I’ve taken 3 APs so far (the only ones available for junior year in my high school) AP US History, AP English Language and Composition, and AP Psych

Next year i am taking AP English Lit and Composition, AP Government, AP Biology, and AP Spanish

I’ve taken all honors classes and APs throughout my high school career. I started a Habitat for Humanity campus chapter/club in my school, and have volunteered in many different locations.

I’ve played Field Hockey and Lacrosse all 3 years, Field Hockey with 1 year of Varsity and Lacrosse with all 3 years varsity

Thanks so much and if needed i can give added information!

More detail is needed about your ECs.

-active member of Science club
-Habitat for Humanity Chapter President and Founder (definitely my biggest focus, i lead all builds for my school and am in great coordination with our local Habitat officer, i also host huge fundraiser events)
-FBLA
-Food pantry volunteer
-Daycare volunteer at Community Center
-Panther Leaders (my schools club of students who work with with the faculty/principal to improve the school)
-NHS

also I have a few awards such as the Wellesley Book Award and Academic-Athletic awards (for being on varsity teams with high honors, which isn’t that great but i might as well include it).

I’d say more than 7-10%. I’d say roughly 15-20%. If you want a better chance of getting in, make sure your essays and interview focus on how invested you are in one particular interest (MAYBE two). Genuinely convey not just how you desperately want to go to Brown (I assume this is the case, haha) but why Brown would really be the best (or at least a very good) choice for you. What does Brown have that the others don’t? How do its strengths match up with your own? Why should Brown accept you?

thanks so much for your input! any chance is worth a shot (:
