I am only a sophomore in highschool, but I am starting my college search. Currently my GPA is not nearly as good as I would like it to be, but I was wondering if I even have a chance at getting into University of Illinois-Urbana Champaign, Loyola University Chicago, or if you recommend any schools that would be great too.

Current GPA: around 3.4
ACT Composite: 26 (this was my practice test, I'm only a Sophomore)
-I'm a member of the honor society

Freshman year:
-honors english: A
-geometry: B
-Japanese 1: A
-Biology Honors: B
-Honors World Studies: B

Sophomore Year:
-Honors English: A/B
-Honors Alg 2: B
-Japanese 2: A
-Honors Chemistry: B
-AP Macroeconomics: B
-AP Government: B

I don't know my class rank so i dont know if that's a big deal.

Extra Curriculars (so far):
-2 years of water polo
-1 year of cross country
-1 year of basketball
-1 year math team
-1 year student government
-I'm working and volunteering all summer

Do I have a chance at all at getting into UIUC or Loyola? Those are my top two right now but are they realistic? Also I don't think I did good at all with my grades the last two years so I am definatly going to buckle down and improve those and I will also be attending an ACT prep in the summer, so that should hopefully raise my low ACT score. Any feedback would be appreciated! Thanks!
