Community Service:
This is a weakness. I don't really have any documented time. Most of my time went to working for a wage due to my poor family. When I did volunteer, it was little.

Other:
I already completed an interview with MIT. I feel like I didn't do as well as I needed to. I connected with the interviewer, but I feel like I could've done more. I also have most of my experience with computers, however, I'm applying to be a Chemical Engineer. I was pushed into working with computers, but I want to eventually be a physician and I love Chemistry. I'm not a strong writer. I have taken steps to improve and have a plan. My writing has increased exponentially, but I'm unsure if it will be good enough. Yesterday was the last day for Questbridge applications, and I found out about Questbridge yesterday. I went ahead and completed an application and wrote the essays(~9hrs). I know I didn't do well enough on them, but I would rather try and fail then not try at all.
Basically, what I'm focusing on for my hook is improvement. How I have come from a lack luster past and family, and how I wish to improve this. How I am going above and beyond to push myself and how I'm actually fairing well. How I can rise to be one of the best if given the chance.

Bumpity bump. Plus, I forgot to include Vanderbilt as one of the colleges I’m applying to.

For UMich CoE, your GPA is good and your ACT is around the admission average. If you are from OOS, it would be a low reach.
