Im planning on writing my personal essay about my recent interest in politics which I recently decided was pretty fun to learn during my junior year. I hope that this would set me apart from other people. But as you can see I had no E/Cs showing my passion for politics so I just recently started.

Im majoring in Computer Science.
Also does your major affect your chances of getting in college? (like some majors are more competitive than others?)

Being asian will not help you get in. :D

Yes, you do have a very good chance of admissions.

Looks good to me. As for the ICS major, I am not sure if it is impacted or not. It is true that there are more competitive majors than others, but for me they wanted an alternative major incase you did not get into your first choice.

And props for the Yu-Gi-Oh! competitiveness. As long as you show passion, anything is fair game!

Don’t think major matters that much either, so yeah, forget that, and yeah, ICS isn’t impacted. Looks like your odds are pretty good, sir.
