Hi guys, so I started off my college career and did a semester in canada at a university. I got 2 F's, 1 D, and had 2 W's. The next semester I came back to california and went to a community college, and got a 3.8 gpa, then over the summer got a 4.0, and then this past fall got a 4.0 gpa, I was wondering, do I have a chance of getting into UCLA? Will the Canadian transcipt hurt me? I explained that i dealt with homesickness and was feeling very insecure being away frm home. My community college cum gpa is 3.8.
The 3 classes I took in canada, were spanish 101-F, Earth Ocean Science-F, and Economics-D. I had to drop a math class and a religion class because it was a year long course.
Do you think I can get into UCLA WITH aNTHROPOLOGY?
SHOULD i JUST HIDE THIS TRANSCRIPT?

You should never hide your academic records. As for your chances, I think you will have a good shot at UCLA as long as you maintain your current GPA. The average GPA for Anthropology major last year at UCLA was 3.57. Remember that what you get from CCC is way more important than your previous GPA in Canadian University (: I can’t say it’s not going to hurt at all, but I believe that it will not affect you that much.
