I have a 4.0 gpa and ranked top 5 in my class at my PA high school that is annually ranked as one of the top public schools in the state. I got a 1480 new SAT (superstore 1490) and a 32 ACT (deciding whether or not to retake). I like to think I’m decently involved in extracurriculars (president of School’s FBLA, treasurer of SADD, NHS, vball team). What type of realistic chance do I have at getting into ND when applying this coming fall?
Legitimate? Yes. Though I would retake the ACT as that is toward the low end of admitted students. Your SAT and ACT are the same based on concordance tables.
Write great essays, especially the ones that are unique to ND.
You have a pretty good shot. I know someone with a very similar profile who got in. I think you’ll be okay, as long as you continue working hard.
