Do I have a reasonable chance to get into RPI, GT, or Purdue.

Right now I'm a high school junior. I took the sat for the first time and scored an 1880 ( I know that's really bad but I still have next year to bump it up). I have a gpa of 4.0. For the past three years I've consistently received Outstanding Musician and Most Improved Musician awards from band (which I have participated in since sixth grade). I've done beach cleanup community service every year, am part of the National Honor Society, and will be doing robotics next year (both the club and class). If I can get enough people to join me I really want to start the first chess club at my high school. Outside of school I've played in several of my own bands with my family and friends, played several talent shows, etc. If I get a job this summer I plan on building a computer and several basic arduino robots. I really want to get an aerospace engineer and computer programming major. What are my chances for getting into RPI GT or Purdue?

You have a very good chance if you bring your SAT score to 2000+

I think I have a good chance of doing that. I know I can get my math and writing into the 700s because they were already in the mid 600s the first time around, which is probably a difference of not too many problems. I’m going to have to do some serious studying for CR thought because I only scored 590. GT and RPI are mostly focused on math though, from what I’ve seen.

What about Boston University?
