I'm going to be a sophomore soon and the schedule I've planned for myself is:

AP Chemistry
AP Human Geography
Tenth grade English (Honors)
Precalculus (Honors not available at my school)
French-2
Physical education (required)

And besides that I will self study AP psychology, is this good enough?

Is this schedule really that bad? I have AP Chemistry which takes up two periods of my schedule so I just didn’t have any time for other classes. Otherwise I would have taken AP physics.

Yeah, it sucks. Everyone I know took AP Chemistry in 8th grade, and the average people took it in the 9th grade. Pre-Calculus is what my friends and I took in the 7th grade.

…Your schedule’s fine. Just take whatever you want to take.

This schedule is beyond what a sophomore at my school is allowed to take. I’m the only sophomore in AP Chemistry. And precalculus as a sophomore is uncommon at my school.
So yes, this is the most rigorous schedule I could take.
Am I on the right track for a top tier university? I appreciate all the opinions so far, thanks!

Well as far as your schedule, yeah definitely, especially if you’re doing more than what other sophomores can normally do. Just be sure your grades are up there and you have a nice list of EC’s, athletics, and leadership too.
