I have a 3.15 gpa and im currently a high school senior. however, i moved this year from overseas(UAE) where i studied the ib diploma for one year and passed, and this year i had some personal difficulties as well as trouble fitting in. i also need to stay one more year, to catch with graduation requirements and at my first SAT shot i got 1700 but i feel better with act now that ive tried it and got a 32 diagnostic score. i take alot of ecs as well, and this year all regular but next year 2 aps(counsellor said she cant give me more bc itd be too much for me to handle)
Considering Uni of wisconsin madison, nyu, Syracuse, although im sure theyre reaches. any advice? do next years first semester grades count alot, so i can show im capable?
im realy confident now that ill do really great, and since i started gaining motivation ive been doing so much better at school recently.
Your first semester grades should have an impact if you don’t apply early action or early decision. Can you afford those colleges? NYU will cost $70K+/year.
Yes, I’m aware of that, my only issue is getting in, would it be likely for me to get in?
