Edit: Damn I forgot the question mark!
Hi I've been looking at schools and University of Chicago is by far my first choice. My SAT's are pretty good and I'm quite sure I got a 4 or 5 on the AP Bio but my GPA is really low for a school like UChicago. I want to know if I have a shot and what, if anything, I can do to improve my chances. You can skip everything but the last line if you want.
SAT:
Math: 800
Reading: 770
Writing(I'm not sending it in): 660
I'm taking the Bio and Math SAT II's in October. I got a 610 on chem earlier but I'm not going to send that in.

GPA UW: 3.30
GPA W: 3.86

My EC's are nothing remarkable and you can skip them if you want.
EC's:
Novice Rowing 2012-13, Varsity 13-14
Varsity Gymnastices 2012-14
Freshman Soccer
Frisbee 2011-12
Model UN since Freshman year
Bookstore Employee Freshman and Sophmore Year

I've been in Honors Maths and Sciences since Freshman year and this year I did AP Bio. I've also taken Honors Computer Repair and Support and Honors Programming. I'm taking BC Calc, AP Chem, AP Stats, and AP Physics next year.

I program and tinker with computers a lot on my free time and I might work that into my essay.

I'm hoping to get in if I write a killer essay but I'm really worried that my GPA will kill my app. If my essays are gorgeous do I have a chance? Are there anythings I can do over this summer or next year to improve my chances?
