Do I have a shot?

Hello,
I am currently going into my senior year and am faced with the common worries and self-doubt of getting into my ideal colleges that many others are dealing with as well. I’m hoping to be accepted into college for either civil engineering or architecture (depending on the school, as many universities do not offer architecture programs). UC Berkeley, UCLA, and Cal Poly SLO are at the top of my list (along with a few Ivy Leagues, but those are very much reach schools for me).

What are the chances of me getting accepted? Also, between now and when applications are due, is there anything I should try to do to add to my app? Thank you! I appreciate any advice you can give me.

I think you have a good shot at all your schools!

You are a competitive applicant to all the schools you listed and you have excellent test scores and grades. You have a lot of extra curricular activities. You must be able to tie atleast some of those activities to your career and life goals. In other words, put them into context. From now until you apply, think about essay topics and build strong relationships with your advisor and instructors. Letters of recommendation will play a big role for strong candidates like you.

Are you instate for California? There is no financial aid for OOS students in California and the fees are huge.

Yes, I live in the Bay Area

Thank you! I have been working with my advisor/counselor on my tutoring program for the past couple of years and know her very well, so I hope she will be able to write a complementary letter of rec. I will definitely be working towards strengthening my relations with some of the teachers this year. I really appreciate your advice!

You are a competitive applicant with great Stats and have an excellent chance of getting into these schools.
Good Luck.

Thank you @Gumbymom
