Do I have a shot?

First off, I want to say this is my first post here! I have been reading around and this seems like a very nice, helpful forum, so I thought I would ask my question thats been eating at me, haha.

I just want to ask if I have any shot at making it into UCSD. I know these are done all the time, but bear with me please!

OK, there it is. So would you say I have a shot at getting in? Thanks everyone!

UCSD runs a point system and no one knows you better than you so give it a try and if you have questions on certain parts, ask and I'm sure many people out there will help you out. Link to the system is below. Aim for 7600 at least if you're in-state.

UCSD Freshman Comprehensive Review Process (Dec 2004)

i think you sound very qualified, the only thing that could be a problem is your gpa is a little low for being weighted but probably your other stuff will make up for it.

i'd say very fair chance.
what's your unweighted though?

i had 3.8 unweighted, 2040 sat, 400+ comm. service hrs. and i managed to get in. It does help though that I'm a poor inner city kid =) So your chances look really good, stats are better than mine. Good luck!
