Hey, I'm applying to Wellesley EE or RD and I will be asking for a large amount of financial aid. Any advice would really help!

Country of Citizenship: India
Legacy: Yes (My sister studies at Wellesley)
SAT I: CR - 660, Math - 800, Writing - 800 (1460, 2260 - composite)
SAT II: Math II - 800, Chemistry - 800
IB: 40/42, 38/42, 38/42, 41/42 (predicted score)
ECs: Strong in terms of Chess, Community Service, Teaching Computer Applications, Public Speaking
Intended Majors: Computer Science, Math

Also, should I apply RD or EE since I'm an international applicant asking for aid?

Wow, your stats look great! (Although you didn't mention GPA or anything).
I don't know anything about financial aid early vs. regular, so I can't offer any help on that, but from where I'm standing it looks like you have an amazing shot at admission.

EE is basically Regular Decision...the only difference is that you send it in a little earlier and a few weeks after that they tell you how likely you are to be admitted. It doesn't make any difference in financial aid.

Your SAT scores are excellent, and it really does help if you have any relatives who study or studied at Wellesley. I'd say you have a pretty good chance, but I'm not sure about how financial aid is going to work out (I never applied for it so I wouldn't know, sorry D: ).

This goes to anybody else who's applying FA to Wellesley: I would say that you shouldn't get discouraged from Wellesley if you don't get much financial aid your first year. From my understanding, Wellesley doesn't offer much FA the first year but when people reapply they offer more. This is at least what I've heard, you might want to check that fact with another Wellesley alum or student.
