Do I have a shot??

Intended Major: Civil Engineering (Structural)

I am a white male from Connecticut.
I have visited the campus and interviewed in Boston.

My GPA is very low: 3.45 (I had a horrible sophomore slump)
I am currently taking 3 APs and have a 4.1 GPA

My SATs are also very low: 660 Math, 560 Verbal, 520 Writing

I have a lot of very good extracarriculars:
I am a member of the Model UN team, an editor on the school paper, Ping Pong club (not sure if this helps), I have helped on numerous political campaigns, I have attended political events and award dinners, community service at an inner city soup kitchen, and I have played for the school baseball team since 9th grade.

I have a very good letter of recomendation and a very solid essay.

I know that it would be a real long shot, but does anyone think there is a shot at all?

Thanks Everyone!!

Admission to Viterbi Engineering is very competitive. When my son applied, there were 4,000 applicants for 400 spots.

yeah usc is competitive, but hopefully your essays and ec and essay shine, good luck:)

Does anyone know how competitive the school of policy, planning, and development is? I put that down as my second choice major
