<p>I think you have a pretty decent chance, great rank for such a small school and African American. Plus you have a lot of extracurriculars, good luck! Did you apply EA?</p>
<p>I think the only thing holding you back is the fact you applied RD, but I still believe you have a pretty good chance! I’d look at parchment and cappex because they’ll chance you! Not a definite thing but it’ll help you get an idea. And if it helps, I got in with a 3.52 EA, African American, in-state. Good extracurriculars but nowhere near as good as yours and no awards. My SATs were 1940. Good luck!</p>
<p>What was your SAT Math and Verbal ? I think that is what they look at not writing. so #/1600 is more important than #/2400. Not sure why getting recruited is key but URM will definitely help plus if you have a improving GPA from freshman to senior year would be good to highlight. If essay sets you apart that will be a big help too… </p>
<p>on GPA some hi schools have grade inflation so if your school has a high academic rigor given your rank that may offset GPA in eyes of admissions … </p>
