Do I have any chance of getting accepted as a lower-division transfer at FSU?

I wish to transfer to FSU in the fall of 2013. I am currently attending FIU, this is my freshman year here. I have not applied to FSU before, but I have been told I will be judge under the incoming Freshman criteria PLUS the transfer criteria since I will have 40 credits rather than 60 by the fall of 2013. I just wanted to give you guys an overall scenario of myself to see if anyone could give me some advice of what I need to do to have a greater chance of being accepted or if I will be okay as of now. Here is my scenario: I did pretty well in high school. My unweighted GPA was a 3.7, weighted was a 5.1 (I was on the top 10% of my graduating class), I took 6 AP classes and passed all (thus I received 21 credits before entering FIU). I also did every honor society available at my school and a few clubs; I got 2 "AP Scholar with Honor" awards, and a district "Excellence in Academic Achievement" award. For college, however, I have been doing a bit less. I started FIU enrolled with 15 credits (I had received a scholarship from FIU which required 30 credit hours at the end of every year); I started with General Chemistry I (CHM1045 plus Lab), Calculus I (MAC2311), Writing and Rhetoric II (ENC1102), First Year Experience (SLS1501; a freshman experience course required at FIU), and Studies in World Religions (REL3308). Everything was great but then I went through some very tough personal issues, and I was not able to keep up with Chemistry and Calculus; therefore, I dropped them. I was also a Biology major when I entered and midway through my Chemistry class and this job I held at a Microbiology Research Lab at FIU, I started to notice the Biology path was not for me. After dropping Chemistry, I decided to switch my major. I researched on other majors and found Marketing to be more inclined towards something I would really like to see myself doing in the future. This semester I will finish with 7 credits, which I am sure will look bad when I apply as a transfer; however, next semester (Spring 2013) I will end up taking 12 credits. I have made sure that the courses I will take will fulfill the first 2 terms under the FSU Map for Marketing as I am basically done with all my core classes thanks to my AP credits and classes I am taking now. Oh, and I almost forgot my SAT and ACT scores. My SAT was 540 in Math, 570 in Writing, and 580 in Reading (1690 total). My ACT score was 27 in English, 24 in Math, 23 in Reading, 26 in Science, and an 8 on the Essay; my composite score was a 25. I have only taken both these tests once, and I have been told FSU is looking for a minimum of a 1740 on the SAT and a 26 on the ACT; so, I will retake the ACT on December 8th to try and at least get that extra point for a 26. To conclude, all I am really asking is what else can I do to be competitive as a transfer? I really, really want to be admitted and I know my first semester in college has not been great (I do have kept my grades at As, however). Please if anyone could advise me a little bit, I would be so thankful.
