Fall 2013 Transfer Student

Hello! So I am applying as a transfer student to FSU for fall 2013 and I was wondering if anyone could tell me my chances?
I just submitted my online application today and tomorrow I'm going to FIU to have them send over my official transcript.
Current University: FIU
GPA: 3.3
Major: Public Relations
Credits: More than 60

I didn't include my SAT /ACT scores in my application because I was told they don't look at that if you're transferring with more than 60 credits.
Could someone tell me if I should have included that or does it not really matter?

I also already applied to the actual major.. so hopefully I get accepted to both!!
Can anyone tell me by when should I find out if I'm accepted or not?
Thanks!!

Do you have your AA, or do you just have over 60 credits? Getting your AA gets you preferential consideration for acceptance with FSU.

Nope, I just have more than 60 college credits

The Public Relations major is limited access, as well. Not having your AA (which I highly recommend you get, just for the ease of transferring) and also applying to a limited access major, which is extremely competitive by nature, works against you a bit.

Would you be on track for your major? [The Florida State University](http://www.academic-guide.fsu.edu/Maps/Mappublicrelations.html)

If you wouldn’t be on track for your major, they likely won’t accept you. Hopefully you have all of the pre-reqs and stuff out of the way.

To answer your other questions, you should get a response in around 2 months, maybe 10 weeks if they get behind.

I wouldn’t send your ACT/SAT scores unless they’re absolutely amazing, since they aren’t required. Don’t waste your money unless you feel that they’re good enough to only aid your application.
