I’m currently a freshmen at a local community college, but am interested in transferring after I get the associates. Hoping to major in poli sci.
For argument’s sake – if I were to have a 4.0 GPA, honor society member, with one or two clubs under my belt, would you think this would be good enough to get in?
If you are studying in a community college in Massachusetts, you might be eligible for the MassTransfer program. Which basically is that if you graduated from CC with above a certain GPA requirement, you will have guarantee admission to Umass Amherst. Look more at: https://www.umass.edu/umccc/
Other than that, if you are able to achieve that stats, it’s a pretty much guarantee admission wherever you come from.
