I'm currently a junior, and would like to attend Penn State, University of Delaware, University of Maryland College Park, Virginia Tech, and maybe Boston University (which i know is a reach). I have a 3.00 unweighted, a 3.46 weighted. I've taken 4 APs so far (Stat, Euro, Art History, Environmental Science) and plan on taking AP Calc, AP Physcology, AP Spanish Lang next year. I recieved a 570 SAT writing, 540 critical reading, and 580 math. I still plan on taking them once more. I have a few EC's (Church group, Multicultural Club, Young Volunteer Club) and I am planning on interning at the Maryland General Assembly next fall. Is there any chance I could get into these schools if I maintained my GPA? Im freakin.

And my class rank is 109 of 470.

If those grades and SAT scores stayed at the same level you wouldn't get in to any of them. Get the SAT's higher, you atleast need to get in the 600 range on all sections and get the GPA to atleast a 3.5 (preferably higher), then you will have a good shot at them. Hate to sound sorta harsh, but admissions is a harsh game to play.

Also, my dad is considered to be a top donor at UMD. And i have been promised reccomendations by a UMD professor/lobbyist and the superintendent of Public Schools in my county. Will this help much?
