Do I have any shot of transferring to a decent school?

I've completed about 60 hours at Indiana University Bloomington as a pre-business major, which puts me as an incoming junior. I was denied entry into the business school this summer and am now taking a semester off to attempt a transfer or reconsider my major. But my preference is to transfer and get a business degree.

Here are my stats:

My GPA is 3.33, but the trend has been upwards; this past semester I took more hours than I have in any other semester (21) and earned the highest GPA in my college career (3.55)

SAT Superscore of 2130

Reasonable amount of extra-curricular involvement that relates to my major and non-profit volunteering

I currently have a part time job but I'm looking to find something a little more appealing to colleges, like an internship or working for a non-profit.

I'm a resident of Texas and I would hope to at least be able to gain admission into UT Austin, but I would be thrilled if I could get into a school like UVA or UNC, albeit unlikely. Do I have any reasonable shot here? What can I do in the upcoming semester (or two) to make myself more appealing to the universities that I'm trying to transfer to?

Bump. I would appreciate any advice!

UNC will be tough. Keenan-Flagler is very competitive for transfer admission from what I’ve read. The average UNC transfer GPA is above 3.5, and even at 3.5 you’re really pushing it. The upward trend is a great thing to have. Make sure to keep it up. You do, however, have excellent SAT scores, and if you have as many EC’s as you say you do, you have a realistic shot. Also, the fact that you’re at a 4-year and not a CC really helps. I’m not familiar with UT Austin, but I think you have a pretty realistic shot at getting in there.
