Do I have enough time to study for May 2nd exams?

I signed up for Math 2 and Chemistry but I haven’t even started studying yet. I’m aiming for a 700+ on Chem and 750+ on Math. Should I just take them next year or something? I’m a sophomore right now.

Are you taking AP exams for them or have taken the AP courses for them? Those help a lot

First of all, I actually rescheduled the exam for June 6th. And to answer your question, I’m taking AP Chem and I’m in AP Calc AB and I did pre-calc first semester. I’m also taking the AP Chem exam.

AP Calc wouldn’t really help, but it doesn’t hurt either. Most of the topics are things you covered back in Algebra 2 and Precalculus. Some questions can be solved using calculus - differentiation - but you can still solve them without. The highest level/hardest topics are probably Law of Cosines and Sines (just memorize the equations)

I took both of these exams June of my sophomore year, after finishing AP Calc AB and AP Chem. It is completely manageable.

For Math II, a 750+, even an 800, is quite feasible because of the easier curve (-6ish is still an 800). I would recommend brushing up on some pre-calc topics, since those will be covered. Barron’s is, in my opinion, the best book for Math II because it overprepares you (which is not entirely a bad thing). Plus, if you can get ~700-750 on the Barron’s tests, you’re on track for an 800 on the actual test.

As far as Chem goes, I didn’t study much for the subject test and still got a 780, and I wasn’t too great at AP Chem, either. However, I would recommend looking up the syllabus and reviewing some of the unfamiliar topics to familiarize yourself with what will be on the test. If you’re decent at AP Chem, a 700+ should be pretty easy for you.

Hope this helps! Good Luck!

Thanks to @redwall1521‌ and @EngineBus2015‌. I guess I just need to brush up on some pre-calc topics and I’ll be okay.
