<p>Hello, I am a HS senior from a competitive public high school, and Vanderbilt looks like it would be a great place for me. The only problem is that my transcript is not the best. I did terrible freshman year of high school, but every year since then I have consistently been receiving A's. I also do not have good EC's (I plan on going into a few clubs this year though). I did well on my SAT's (2000's), but that is not amazing compared to Vandy's averages. My recommendations will be extremely good too(2 from teachers, 1 from the GC).
I can probably write a really good essay, but I am not sure if that will make a difference. </p>
<p>What would you say are my chances at getting accepted?</p>
