Do I have to fax a copy of my standardized test scores...?

... If I've already sent them in October through Collegeboard / ACT?

Also, could students enrolled in the CLAS take courses that are outside of CLAS; ie engineering classes at Viterbi?

yes and yes

USC wants standardized test scores in three places. Why? no idea but they do, one that application, score reports from college board or act, and a faxed copy of scores.

Okay, thank you so much! Asking for test scores 3 times is a bit redundant, but I will not question their ways.

Nerdlings,
The admisssions committee is dealing with over 35,500 freshmen applications and a bit later about 10,000 transfer applications. Mail can be lost. Forms can have the ID number transposed. Students or individuals sending a FAX can type an incorrect number. There are an incredible number of duplicate names.

Having three copies of your grades is a protection for YOU. It assures the committee your grades have been received and are in the correct folder. Keep in mind applications are received from all parts of the world.

where does it say to fax them???

do we have to? where did it say that? omggg

lol it looks like some people are to good to read the instructions section of the application. I would highly suggest ready all instructions on all your application because there were a few important things i would have missed if i didn’t.

LOL I did read the instructions and all it says is to do 2 things 1) Mail an unofficial score report with that form and 2) Have an official report sent from college board.

Test Scores
Entering your scores facilitates the review process, but you must also (1) arrange to send an official report from the testing agency, and (2) send us a paper copy of your personal report using Form 5. A photocopy or website printout of the report is fine.

I’m pretty sure if you sent the official SAT scores earlier enough and they’ve processed them you don’t have to… because on my application status it says they’ve received both official and unofficial score reports and i only sent official

The thing I Copy and pasted from their site just says send the unofficial, it doesn’t say FAX. CB sent the official report about 1.5-2 weeks ago, and my school mailed the unofficial with my recs and transcript today.

That’s fine jjohn. Just send your unofficial scores too - mail or fax. Also, even though they say subject test scores (SAT 2) are optional, I heard they want them.
