I am planning on going to McGill University. I was accepted to the engineering school with a A-/B average, and im curious how much my grades can slip before they will reject my invitation.

Thanks

I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM EXCEPT WITH THE EDUCATION SCHOOL!!!!
Me=Nervous
I talked to a dude on the phone...hehe my third quarter grades slipped...I had a 92 GPA first semester as a senior but will probably have a 88 third quarter. He said basically just complete your courses and graduate...by no means does that mean have your GPA fall a ridiculous amount, but if you slip 3 pts thats probably not a huge deal. What I'm personally gonna do is work my butt off fourth quarter to make up for it. NO IM NOT LYING. I WILL DO IT.

Im not completly failing, but im comming pretty close. Il definilty pass all my classes, and i havn't dropped any, but if i go from B's to C's and D's, will they realy kick me out?

Sorry...I don't know, and I certainly don't want to make you flip out with false information...nor do I want to inflate your hopes. If it makes you feel better, I was totally flipping out earlier. iIn my gov. course, I got a bunch of tests that were 67s/68s. My best test was a 79. We had a few quizzes which I did OK on, but thats it, no outside projects. However, the AP Curve was such that I got an 85 for the quarter. Sweet, right? Hard course.
Also, English I've been slacking off on (bad, I'm supposed to be an English teacher) and yet I still got an 88 even though I deserved a C. AP Curve.
Maybe your school has something like that and your grades won't be that bad.
My only advice besides that is to get them back up fourth quarter. I mean that seriously...again, chances are they just want you to pass and graduate, but I would definetely bring those grades back up anyway because the "line" for kicking people out is not exactly defined and it probably wouldn't be smart to take chances and test the limits of McGill because you never know when you hit that point where they rescind admission.
