I thought they were sent automatically, but apparently we have to tell the testing centers to send them?!

Yep.

It seems that you’ve found out about this a little too late. You better do something about that; try and send in those scores if you can.

Okay I just sent them in now, it says it will take approximately a week. Is this too late, or do you think they will still consider me for admission? (5 of my AP units count towards my 60, without them I only have 55.)

EDIT: It says the deadline for UC’s is July 15th, am I in the clear?

Did they ask for your AP scores? Unless they notified you, you shouldn’t be sending in anything right now.

i didnt send mine in, nor put it on my application since it had no effect on my cc, never got credit so i had to take those courses again at cc. ( i got a 1 i believe in ap worldhist)

Hmm, @ocnative may be right.

Still, sending in those AP scores of yours shouldn’t hurt your chances. But I might be wrong. I wish I could be of more help.

You’re not supposed to be sending in anything to them. Save yourself the $$$, wait until decisions come out and they ask for it.

AP scores are like transcripts: don’t send them until they ask for them.

@ Cayton well thats why i dont plan to send mine in or even reported it on the application.

A UCSD admiss came to my my CC, when i asked, that it wont affect my admission to the school since the AP ( considering i got a 1 on the AP test) wasnt used for my placement assessment test when first entering the CC and didnt credit towards my CC transcripts and said theres no repercussion to not send in or report the AP scores to the application for that reason. Of course she said as far as her knowledge to UCSB and UCI it wont affect it either but to contact them since shes not a rep from those schools.
