<p>I think you can defer enrollment, I believe that incoming first years can delay starting a year, but I believe you need to have a reason for doing so. Definitely check with admissions (or Dean J if she reads this…). </p>
<p>Generally though, few people are accepted for Spring semester admissions. It tends to be more competitive than Fall transfer admissions, due to the limited number of students that are admitted.</p>
