I got into BC and sent in my money…i’m going to BC next year without a doubt. But will I get in trouble for not withdrawing my app to another school even though i only want to see whether or not i would have gotten in and i would not be going there??

I don't think you will "get into trouble," but it helps the other schools (a) not waste time considering you, and (b) with their yield stats.

Nope you don't have to withdraw your app at all. My roomate last year got in to BC early, but didn't withdraw from Cornell, Northwestern, and Georgetown; He just wanted to see if he could get in. He got into all three, but still like BC more.

nah i dont think you have to withdraw it, because you could hypotheically still change your mind and choose to go somewhere else. i think you only HAVE to withdraw your apps when you apply ed somewhere and are accepted

wow, thats all i can say to someone picking BC over Northwestern, Cornell, and Georgetown

^ ^ ^ Ditto! Wow.

wow to ckmets13 for not transferring yet...BC is a top school academically and rising (no, it is NOT an ivy, but should be a top 20-25 school in the next 5-10 years). Wouldn't be at all surprised if it surpassed it's Catholic rivals, GT and ND, in the near future. Remember that BC specializes in UNDERGRAD and with multiple top 15 programs, seems to be doing very well
