Do I Have What it Takes?

<p>My dream is to go to the University of Michigan because I love evrything it stands for. I'm anxious to know if I turly have what it takes to get accepted. Please chance me (OOS)!!!</p>

<p>GPA (unweighted): 3.78 GPA (weighted): 3.95
SAT Scores: Math-720 CR-600 Writing-680 Total-2000
ACT Scores: Haven't taken yet but anticipating around a 29-30
Freshman Year - 4.0 (1 Honors-French)
Sophomore Year - 4.1 (3 Honors-French, Chemistry, US History)
Junior Year - 3.67 (1 Honors-French / 3 AP's-Euro, Psychology, Biology)
Senior Year - ?? (4 AP's- Statistics, Language, Calculus AB, US History)</p>

<p>Sports: Basketball (2 years varsity), Cross-country (1 year varsity), Baseball (2 years)
Extra Curriculars: Co-Founder of the Senior Citizen Club, School Newspaper, Worked Basektball Clinics and at local store
Awards: National Honor Society, Have been published in the NY Times
Side Note: Will be taking 2-week summer classes at Michigan and bmy cousin goes there now (don't know if that helps)</p>

<p>I think you have a very good chance of getting into the University of Michigan. Your GPA and extracurriculars look good for this university so keep it up! It seems to me like a match school. </p>

<p>If you have time, I would study more for the SAT and retake it. Boosting your score another 100 points would probably increase your chances, especially as an out-of-state student. But even with your current SAT score, I would say this school is a great match for you. 34% of its students are out-of-state anyway. </p>

<p>Your cousin going there probably won’t help, but being out-of-state probably won’t hurt you too much either as long as you keep your GPA up, continue doing extracurriculars, and boost your SAT if possible.</p>
