Hi everyone,
I’m in the process of applying to several colleges. I was wondering if I needed to send them an “official report” for my SAT/ACT through their respective websites at a fee.
I ask this because they ask you to report your own score, and my transcript has my ACT/SAT score as well.
Thanks!
You do need to send an “official report”. You may want to take note of which forum you post from in order to maximize possible responses.
If you don’t list colleges at time of registration (4 free), you have up until a certain time after the test date to send 4 scores for free.
Make sure you send them directly through the site i think if you registered for the test through collegeboard.com then it gives you the option like ohiomom said 4 free ones and what this does to put it in perspective for you is think about when you send an important package normally you would also call the person by phone or some sort of direct contact and tell them i have sent an important package for you so expect it. Sending the scores directly will get them to the college basically instantly and it will tell the school oh “you” have sent test scores so this person must be interested in our school we will probably be getting an application and transcripts and your email address will probably be provided so they may contact you through that as well.
