I submitted a TAG to UCSB; however, now that I have signed up for spring semester classes, I realized the classes I said I was going to take when I submitted my TAG are a little different from the ones I signed up for. Do I need to go in and edit my TAG application?

I briefly talked with an academic counselor about it today and she said that I do NOT need to do this. I only need to fill out my UC app with the accurate spring classes and then there is an update in January.

Is this true; do I not need to touch my TAG application again? I could've sworn that I was suppose to update my TAG application with the correct spring classes.

The academic counselor is correct gasp.

Once the filling period is over for the TAG application, then it’s actually impossible to update it (the UC you applied to will have to “unlock” it for you to make any edits). You just fill out your regular UC Application with the new courses (maybe explaining the change in the additional comments section), and then go on with the update in January. At this point no one should be touching their TAG application for fall 2014.
