I've TAGed to UCSB, and I remember that we put our planned courses. Now those planned courses are changed, switched one class and dropped another. In the academic update, I will put the current and accurate planned classes. However, since I've put the other classes on the TAG application will i have any issues?

Also, non of the classes I'm talking about our pre-reqs... there just random classes.

I asked a UCSB rep who came to my cc this question when I was doing my app and realized I didn’t need some of the classes I wrote I’d take for my TAG. She said the app overrides the TAG, since it’s more recent, and it doesn’t matter if you’re still finishing what you need to for GE/prereqs. I assume the same goes for the update.

Which makes sense, I think many people end up changing it around a bit, seeing as it’s so hard to get into classes. I mean, I’m on quarters. What I put for my update may even need to be changed, depending on what our spring quarter schedule looks like and what classes my cc doesn’t end up cutting.
