Do I need to have taken the SAT to transfer from Community College to a CSU?

Im going to be be going to Community College this fall, then transfer to Cal Poly Pomona. Ill be living on campus, if it matters. I have not taken the SAT yet, nor do i plan to. I have heard that you do not need to have taken or submit any SAT or ACT scores if you are transferring to a CSU from a Comm. College, i just want to make sure though. So is that true? I dont need to take the SAT or ACT or submit any scores when i apply to Cal Poly Pomona from Community College? All i need is to meet the easy minimum Admission Requirements and ill be guaranteed acceptance? My major is not on their impacted majors list, so that's good, but what if my major would be impacted? What else would be needed?

Nothing else is needed if your major is impacted, just more competitive stats  also, if you are transferring BEFORE completing 60 units (semester) at a CC, then yes you DO need the SAT. If you’re transferring AFTER completing 60 units (semester), then no you don’t need it.
