So I applied to five cal states. SFSU, SDSU, csula, csulb, and csuf. I have already been accepted to sfsu and CSULA. However, I am dropping an unnecessary class I have for the second semester of school. It’s an art 1 class, I got an A in it the first semester and I don’t need it to fulfill the fine art requirment cause I have that credit already. Would it affect me at all if I drop this class because it is a waste of time? And should I notify these schools???
Yes you should email admissions in regards to any schedule changes.
all cal-states have info on their website about how to let them know about schedule changes. for example
http://web.calstatela.edu/univ/admiss/appupdate.php
http://www.csuchico.edu/admissions/already-applied/freshmen/index.shtml
It’s the correct, ethical, and smart thing to do . . . and it will NOT (it’s a Art class, as you indicated) hurt you in any way.
