Do I need to pay to send additional SAT Subject Tests to colleges after already sending SATs?

I was very stupid and sent my SAT score to the UCs back in June, and I didn’t know it included my horrible Math II subject test score of 580 that I took at the end of sophomore year. I retook the Math II subject test and took the Physics test in August and my Math II score went up to 740.

That was the score I self-reported on my UC apps. I just checked the UC Davis portal and it says that my first Math II score was officially reported. I tried to send my new score to the UCs, but it says I have to pay to send it since I used all of my free score reports. Do I have to pay again just because I’m sending them after I already sent some of the scores?

My friend told me I don’t need to officially send SAT subject test scores (I’m not sure if that’s correct), but I don’t want the schools to think I’m lying about my score since my first one was reported. I also self-reported my Physics score.

Do I need to pay to send them? If so it’s not a big deal, but I just want to be sure.

Thank you!

UC’s require all SAT scores and/or ACT scores. SAT subject tests are not required only recommended by some UC’s but not UC Davis. If you want to send your new scores, you will need to pay.

@Gumbymom if I self-reported the scores, don’t they want the official scores to be sent? Also, I applied to five UCs in total, not only Davis. Thank you though!

If you self reported the scores, then yes you need to send them so they match your application. The UC’s will take the highest scores so your Math 2 score of 740 will be considered instead of the 580.
