Do I need to submit subject test scores after I applied to Georgetown?

I took subject tests after I applied for Georgetown EA. After reading the website, I’m still not sure if I’m required to send subject test scores AFTER the application deadline. I will email them after the holiday period to confirm.

"I was deferred at Early Action. What can I do to increase my chances of being admitted at Regular Decision?

Early Action admission is offered to a limited number of students, those whom the Admissions Committee is certain they would offer admission based on information from freshman, sophomore and junior years only. Deferred students are strongly encouraged to maintain high senior year grades and submit any new information, such as standardized test scores, new honors or awards."

  • Sounds like they expect any new information about academic or test performance to be submitted. Hopefully you will get a clear answer when you contact them this week, but my vote is "yes". Please do let us know what they tell you.

Per the Gtown website https://uadmissions.georgetown.edu/firstyear/preparation “Georgetown University does not participate in the Score Choice option available through the College Board. Georgetown requires that you submit scores from all test sittings of the SAT, ACT, and SAT Subject Tests” so it sounds like a YES to me (especially if you were not admitted in the EA round). But certainly you can confirm with admissions.

And this, at the bottom of Happy1’s link:

“*Notice to Early Action Applicants:…Candidates applying under the Early Action plan who have not yet taken three Subject Tests should still register to take the tests in the event they are deferred from Early Action to Regular Decision.”

Yes, the implication is still they want them.
