Hi all,
I’m trying to apply for an on-campus job and the form is asking if I’m work-study eligible-- however, I got a scholarship to cover the work-study portion of my package, so do I still count as a “work-study” student? Please help!

If the scholarship covered your W/S, then your W/S was removed. So, no, you’re not a WS student. WS would have to still be showing on your award.
Work study has to be awarded as part of your financial aid package. If you’ve received your full financial aid amount without WS, then you aren’t eligible. You need to go over it with the FA people. You can still get a job on campus without being WS eligible, but not every job because some will be designated ‘WS only’ because that’s where the funds come from.
Sounds like WS was in the original FA pkg, but once the student got the add’l scholarship, the WS was removed.
Thank you! I’m applying for campus jobs as a non-work study student now! Your help was much appreciated!
