<p>Generally, transcripts need to be sent by the high school and need to be “postmarked” (actually mailed or sent) by the application deadline date. Since high schools can be slow in getting things done, it is very important that you make that request for sending of transcript long before the application deadline date.</p>
<p>Most schools will give a little leeway on early deadlines for items that are not submitted by the student (recs, school forms, transcripts).</p>
