<p>I'm assuming that the deadline for your transcript is the same as the online deadline. Definitely get your transcript postmarked Jan 11. I don't think colleges expect your materials to reach them by the deadline, so the postmark is important.</p>
<p>The main thing is to get the application and application fee to them by the deadline. They expect the transcripts and recs to filter in later. Don't delay, of course, but don't worry about postmarks on things like transcripts.</p>
