I took SAT Subject Tests Math level 2 and biology. None of my schools require them, but should I send them anyway? I got a 720 on math and 740 on biology. My schools include case western, U of Michigan- Ann Arbor, University of Minnesota- Twin Cities, University of Wisconsin- Madison, Purdue, and University of Pittsburgh. I am going into something with math and science, probably engineering. Would sending my scores benefit me, not make a difference, or hurt me? I don’t know what a good score is for SAT subject tests.
Send them. They won’t move the needle drastically in the admissions process either way, but the scores are good, so you might as well include them. It certainly will not hurt you.
You can look on the College Board website to see what percentile your scores are. The same score of 720 might be very good or the median score or lower depending on which Subject Test it is. Sending your scores won’t hurt
This would be a pointless exercise, IMO. Since few colleges require Subject Tests, and the ones that do are the highly selective ones, the kids that end up taking them are very self selecting. For that reason, the percentiles for some tests are deflated (look at Chinese and Korean as examples). AO’s are not sitting on the floor cross-referencing percentile charts. A 720 in one test is the same as a 720 in another for all intents and purposes.
Roughly 52 and 77-85 percentile what I do will be to check the college website to see their 75% percentile on Math if m GPA or ACT is already higher I will probably not send my Math 2
