I know my SAT is low, what do you think of my chances of getting in?

Bates had a low acceptance rate this year, set to be lower next year because this year they are over enrolled. It’s hard to say what your chances are, but I suggest you have a well-rounded list with colleges that have higher acceptance rates than Bates and Dartmouth. In your shoes, to be sure of a match or safety, I think you should definitely apply to colleges that have an acceptance rate of around 30%-50%. It’s hard to give exact numbers.

@Lindagaf is it better to submit such SAT score? Is it advantageous if I do? And thank you for your reply!

I don’t think Bates will be interested in your SAT score. It will neither hurt nor help. I think around 30% of Bates applicants don’t submit scores, and they accept a lot of students who don’t submit them. It’s your choice.
