Do I stand a chance for USC, UCLA or Berkeley?

<p>I just finished my junior year in high school. I am wondering if I should even bother applying to USC,UCLA or Berkeley.
GPA- Unweighted GPA 3.8, Weighted 4.0. (will have taken 7 AP's by end of senior year)
Testing- I'm still waiting on reasoning test results. subjects- History 660 english 530 -weak:( and going to take again )
Leadership- V.P of BFF club that spends time with students of special needs, historian of End Genocide Now Club, Senior year president of Key Club, V.P of Temple's Youth Group, Senator of Junior class Spring semester, student council member in 9th grade.<br>
EC's- Youth and Government delegate for two years going on three. I volunteer with the pre-k class at my Temple and am a Sea Ranger at local Aquarium. I had great extracurricular's in ballet until I got injured in September 2009 was stuck in physical therapy for about 7 months and just found out I need knee surgery.
Awards- Academic Achievement Award in AP English,Forum Delegate of the Year and Honorable Mention Award for Youth and Gov., Student of the Month in Spanish ll.
Sob story- Daughter of Single Disabled low income mother</p>

<p>You have a decent GPA but your subject test scores are killing you for the schools you have listed. If it’s possible, you should retake them on the October or November testing dates and try to aim for above a 700. That’ll keep you in the competition for USC, UCLA, and Berkeley. Other than that, everything else looks great. You have good leadership, ECs, awards, and the sob story could help you out.</p>

<p>I agree with franticpizza. Try a re-take to help you. Also, do you live in-state? That would help you immensely.</p>

<p>Of course, but it’s much harder if you’re OOS.</p>
