I have already written my essay but am considering rewriting it. It is about a really intense experience i had during my mentorship in the emergency department when i saw a man die. Then it goes on to describe the conversation i had with the doctor afterwards and how instead of turning me off wanting to be a doctor, it strengthened my drive.

I enjoy athletics a lot and participating in school gov’t. I want to be pre-med but also would like to dabble in foreign language, political science, econ and such. I want to study abroad or do research over years if economically feasable.
Any opinions on if I’m a good Bates fit and what my chances are would be appreciated.
