Unfortunately this occurred during my junior year. The teacher I had for Calculus AB was unreasonable and extremely difficult in grading. I know that I could have technically worked myself within my class, but that’s not possible due to the difficulty of his tests that constituted to 80% of the grading scale.
Other STEM Related Courses + stuff that could help:
- AP Physics 1 and 2 taken during my junior year and got A's in both for 2 semesters.
- Perfect 800 on SAT Math II, and 780 on my SAT Math Section (1 wrong). Got a 5 on the AP Calculus AB exam.
- Took Python Programming and Web Development over the summer at Community College and earned an A in both courses (after my junior year).
- Have a good amount of related extracurricular: webmaster, robotics team, CS projects in my spare time, founded math tutoring organization, etc.
Anyways, I’m super stressed and really want to get into UCSD or UCSB, but I think this may be a huge burden.
