do international countries take the U.S. test?

I was wondering if anybody knows if a country like korea would take the same SAT subject tests as a U.S. test

If you mean the exact same version on the same test day…then no. They have different versions but the material is similar.

Do you know what the differences would be? I don’t know about imperial -> metric or anything…

@ dfa
are u sure about this? some kids in my class who take it in korea say that the tests will be the same as the American test.

can anyone else confirm

My math teacher works for the CB. The problems are different for abroad even though the format/style of questions remain consistent. But there may or may not be repeats of the same problems on the same test day. Also how do your classmates know they are taking the same test as the Americans? They can’t possibly take both at the same time.

My classmate said that the test he took was the same exact test a friend took in america. they talked about the test once they returned to their foreign country and all the answers were the same

That sounds highly unlikely shrug Supposedly it’s the CB’s policy not to administer the same test abroad but whether it’s actually followed, I don’t know. Anyway it doesn’t change much.
