Do Ivies and other top schools expect a science subject test?

I have taken US (670, maybe retaking) and MathII (790)

Tomorrow, I am signed up for 3 more tests.
I am definitely taking Spanish (pretty confident though I'm non-native)
For the other 2, I am deciding between retaking US, taking Physics, or not taking the third one.
On US, I could probably get a 730 or so. Physics probably a 650 if I'm lucky.

My question is: Is there any reason I need to take Physics?

I will already have decent scores for MathII, Spanish, and US. I'm not applying to H,P,MIT, or Cal. I am applying to Yale, Columbia, and the like.

what are you planning on majoring in?

unless you are applying to an eng program, then no, a science is not necessary. A 730 is much better than a 650, so retake USHist.

i will show you both sides:
1) i would retake US History so you could show colleges that you're willing to work harder and learn from your mistakes and to get all of your scores in the 700s
2) take Physics because it just further shows your breadth and skill in a variety of subject areas
more specific:
however, for yale, columbia, etc i would think it would be more beneficial for you retake US and get all 3 of your scores in the 700s and you already have an interesting variety of tests (US, math, spanish...three completely unrelated subjects)

Retake US is what i say
